Your Child’s Musical Wish, a federally registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, through Opera Is Awesome, LLC, seeks to enrich the lives of all children though the arts of music, drama and dance. Utilizing melodious song, engaging drama and expressive dance, our program promises to nurture young minds to develop an appreciation for the performing arts.

We are a “learning opera” organization for children and audiences alike. Utilizing the beautiful music of opera and musical theater, the opera centers around the original idea of teaching the audience about the singer’s vocal apparatus.

Linda’s husband, Dr. Russell Suda contributes a monthly article to this website on arts advocacy, education and health. The first installment of “The Doctor’s Corner” describes how the performing arts is vital to children’s continued recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic and its long-term effects.

In the article, Dr. Suda sites actor and arts advocate John Lithgow who states, “Arts Education… we believe that few things are as important to the emotional and intellectual health of our youth, who have been confined and held back by the COVID-19 lockdown.”
